Oak Grove Family Cabin is located in the beautiful area of Pine Hills around the bend from the Pine Hills Lodge. The house sits on almost an acre of land and is fenced in to keep wild critters out and dogs and children in (please supervise your children and pets). Oaks and other majestic trees cover the property and there are awesome views from every window. Forced heating and air as well as a wood-burning fireplace, make for a comfortable stay. We have purchased new furnishings with comfort and style in mind.

Dining room is located adjacent to the kitchen. Table pulls out and has extra leaves to seat up to 12. Chairs are provided for 11 along with a high chair with table tray for toddlers that fits onto one of our dining chairs

The living room boasts a floor to ceiling stone corner fireplace with a heat-i-lator to provide extra heat, sofa-bed, love seat, and special table for kids that has a view of the turker and deer that visit our wild life feeder. Eight foot sliding glass door leads to the back deck with a spectacular view of the sunset through Oak Groves in the summer. Living room leads to an open dining room located off the kitchen and main entrance.

Kitchen is large and has all the amenities; stove/oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker, toaster, and baking and cooking items. Dishes, silverware, and glasses have been supplied for service for 12, but there is no guarantee that some items may have been broken.

A Cal King bed with a holistic magnetic mattress is located in front of the other sliding glass door that leads to the deck for a great morning view.  A large closet provides plenty of storage. 

We furnished the kids room with a trundle bed that pulls out to a King where bed is walled on 3 sides to prevent falling out. There is a train table, books, toys, hand puppets, and other activity toys for kids 1yr and up. A TV/VCR unit with movies and children’s videos is in the desk unit opposite the trundle bed that functions as a sofa when not pulled out. All outlets have been blocked with child protector covers. Diaper pail and porta-crib can be found in the kids' closet.

There is a wrap-around deck that leads from the front door to the master bedroom and living room. This is also gated so that dogs can go from the living room to the decks without going into the main yard.

In the driveway is a dog holding area to pen your dogs when moving cars. Please do not leave dogs out at night there are all sorts of woodland animals. Dogs are allowed to stay inside but not on sofas.
